LOG 03 · Confirming entries
Tracing the provenance of a Torzon onion address
An address with no traceable origin is a claim, not an entry.
Updated · 4 sections
Find the first appearance
Look for the earliest dated mention of the Torzon onion string. Later reposts add nothing to its credibility.
Judge the original source
Was it a signed announcement, a long-standing reference page or an anonymous post? Each carries different weight.
Watch for laundering
Unverified Torzon links sometimes gain apparent credibility by being repeated on several sites that copy each other.
Record the trail
Write the origin and any intermediate sources next to the entry so the chain can be rechecked later.
